I was born from the heart of a first-generation Italian and Greek American in the vibrant community of Astoria, Queens. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the import and export business, I was fortunate to witness firsthand how food and family are inseparable.
From a young age, I developed a passion for Italian cuisine and the simple joy of sharing a meal. This love for food wasn’t just about the flavors—it was about the memories made around the table. It was about family gatherings where food wasn’t just a meal, but an experience. And it’s this same spirit that inspired the creation of La Piccola Rosa.
At La Piccola Rosa, we’re committed to offering a taste of Italy that’s authentic, accessible, and affordable. We believe that enjoying Italian food doesn’t have to be reserved for special occasions or break the bank. Whether you’re gathering with loved ones or exploring new culinary experiences, we want to bring the flavors of Italy to your table, wherever you are.
As a family-run business, we take pride in staying true to Italian traditions while growing a brand that’s meaningful to both our local community and yours—across state lines and beyond.

As a founder of La Piccola Rosa Culinary Classics, I grew up in Brooklyn, with my parents and older brother having come from Sicily only 8 years before my birth, they made it a staple that dinner was always had together. Being where they were from, we always ate food they ate growing up. Going there every summer to my quaint little town led me to love the simplicity of the food. A small number of great ingredients make great food. Simple pasta, with garlic, cherry tomatoes and olive oil took all but 10 minutes to make and was delicious, and somehow, some people don’t know about this…
I grew up loving to eat, leading to me learning how to cook around 10 years old with a passion to share my favorite foods with those I love. Sometimes frustrating my wife that when we have lots of people over I want to cook something instead of just catering something. Home cooked food to me is everything, and sharing what you can make with great ingredients, with those you care about, is more than everything.
That passion of sharing great food led to the creation of La Piccola Rosa with my best friend growing up (Who my mother actually calls her second son…I was her second born but whatever, love you mamma.). Like was already written above this, we want to share the culinary beauty of where we are from with you, hope you enjoy it!
